Job Summary:

My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Erection Site Manager to oversee our steel erection projects. As a pivotal member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of steel erection activities, maintaining high safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities/Duties:

· Manage all aspects of steel erection projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

· Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

· Collaborate closely with project stakeholders including engineers, architects, clients, and regulatory authorities to address project requirements and concerns.

· Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and progress reports.

· Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and ensure that all personnel are trained and equipped to work safely at all times.

· Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders.

Requirements:

· NVQ Level 6

· Gold/Black CSCS Card

· 5 years' experience as a project manager for a steel contractor
