Project Engineer

£30,000 - £35,000 Per Annum + Bonus

Jackie Kerr Recruitment is excited to be supporting a long-standing client, recruiting a Project Engineer, who will be a key part of our client’s business. This is a brand-new job opportunity, due to our client’s consistent growth, with flexible working and a bonus scheme!

Project Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining relationships with clients
  • Assist with marketing and sales activities
  • Preparation of quotes and of outline CAE drawings
  • Assist with the preparation of project plans
  • Participate in project meetings and customer reviews
  • Involvement in detailed technical discussion & preparing technical specifications
  • Checking and Approving Engineering Drawings
  • Order processing and workshop management
  • Occasionally carry out site inspections
  • Prepare detailed reports for site visits and technical issues

The Ideal Project Engineer Will:

  • Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong IT skills to perform general office duties
  • Mechanical design knowledge and good familiarity with CAE tools
  • A working knowledge of gas or pipe systems involving flow calculation would be an advantage
  • German speaking would be an advantage

Working Hours + Benefits:

  • Basic Hours: 08:30-16:30 Monday-Thursday, 08:30-16:00 Fridays
  • 50% home-based 50% office-based
  • Bonus scheme
  • Flexible working hours
