Overview:

The successful candidate will be working across a range of sectors within the business, responsible for assisting senior team members of the teams with start-up, administering, and controlling all aspects of a number of projects.

  • Deployed to projects at various stages to implement processes, aiding information flow to senior team and accounts.
  • Work flexibly across projects based on company needs.
  • Collaborate with project control team and senior management to understand upcoming needs.
  • Assist international branches in project controls, facilitating information flow to London head office.
  • Report to Data Manager for leave coordination and workload prioritisation.
  • Support senior team in monitoring, controlling, and administering project progress.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
  • Analyse discrepancies between estimated and actual time/cost, recommend remedial actions.
  • Coordinate planning sessions, lead change management processes, and ensure client deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Prepare Applications for Payment reports and invoices.
  • Manage compensation event lifecycle and credit note processing.
  • Handle sub-consultant administration, including retention letters and payless notices.
  • Contribute to internal and external audits on team projects.
  • Provide input for Quality Management and general project documentation housekeeping.
  • Support project information archiving.

To be successful in this role you'll have…

  • Strong soft skills: teamwork, flexibility, proactivity, organisation, self-motivation, resourcefulness, diplomacy, positivity, discretion.
  • High numeracy, IT proficiency, and excellent communication in English.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic understanding of project programming principles, open to training in Project Controls software.
  • Highly organised, deadline-driven, with discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Preferred: Previous experience in architecture/design-led environments.
