Our client is one of the world leaders for Growth Business Area Green Power & Heat (GP&H) and are looking for a Project Development Manager. To join them on a temporary contractual basis

You will be an integral part of the Energy Transition, manage development projects, contribute to our clients growth in the UK and most importantly be part of a highly motivated team of experienced professionals. What we are looking for

  • Entrepreneurial project developers, enthusiastic to create and develop sustainable energy supply solutions, e.g. utility scale batteries, H2-ready gas-fired power plants, heat pumps, e-boilers.
  • Lead the development of these Clean Dispatchable Power projects from initial ideation and take end-to-end responsibility by steering the project resources towards technical, commercial and permitting maturity until the approval of your final investment proposal.
  • Manage the interfaces to other corporate functions in the review process of high-quality investment proposals.
  • Take ownership to structure the project milestone plan along this journey and establish a strong and clear project governance.
  • Manage divergent stakeholder interests in an inclusive, yet goal-oriented way.
  • Gather market intelligence and support lobbying of political and regulatory changes in respective market from a project development perspective.


What we are looking for from you

  • Relevant qualification(s) which reflect the experience you have gained.
  • Ability to demonstrate your expertise and proven track record in actively developing and managing large projects, preferably related to power generation, infrastructure or heavy industry.
  • Certified project management skills.
  • Experienced in functional leadership of international teams in business development activities.
  • Profound understanding of the technical and commercial requirements of the development activities.
  • Excellent conceptual and strategic thinking combined with the ability to prioritize.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, excellent team-working skills, ability to build and maintain fantastic working relationships across the group and demonstrate reputable stakeholder management skills.
