Position: Interim Project Controller
Location: Staffordshire
Contract: 6-month fixed term contract
Hours: Full-time (Hybrid 3 days on site)
Salary/Benefits: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum

Role Details
We are currently looking for an experienced Project Controller who is immediately available to join a well-established business based in Staffordshire on a 6-month fixed term contract. The business is looking to transform the Finance processes and reporting so this role is a great opportunity to implement changes and make improvements.

Responsibilities of the Project Controller
* The successful individual will be responsible for the maintenance of project postings in D365, ensuring projects are set up, managed and classified correctly and costs are allocated in a timely manner in accordance with SOX controls, US GAAP and UK GAAP reporting
* The project controller will be responsible for the production of fixed asset reconciliations and reporting for statutory accounts as well as maintenance of the fixed asset register to ensure assets are set up in a timely manner and depreciation is run and complete on a monthly basis
* A large part of the role will require the project controller to partner with the project systems team to support and redesign the process and controls
* The project controller will be collaborating with project managers to monitor project time tracking and variances whilst working with software project development to understand project costings and performance
* The individual will be responsible for the development of Capex reporting, monitoring spend against budget, working with the business to add insight and compile forecasting for cash flow

Skills required of the Project Controller
* Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
* US GAAP experience is preferred
* Ability to build relationships and influence others to achieve results
* Good to knowledge of Excel and experience of working with an ERP system
