This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Accountant to join a global design and construction business. Supporting the EMEA Finance team with the financial reporting and tracking of projects across the region.

Client Details

Our client is leader in the office design and construction space, working with some of the most well-known companies in the world. Their expertise has a global reach with offices in London, New York, New Zealand and more.

This role is a hybrid role with 3 days a week based from their office in the City of London.

Description

The Project Accountant will be responsible for the following:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets
  • Track project costs and compare them with budgets
  • Conduct project profitability analysis
  • Timely closing of WIP and investigating variances
  • Manage client billing process
  • Prepare financial reports for management
  • Collaborate with project managers and other project stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
  • Continually improve financial processes related to property projects
  • Assist in the preparation of yearly forecasts

Profile

A successful Project Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • ACCA/CIMA Part-qualified
  • Proven experience in Project Accounting role within the construction industry
  • Previous business partnering experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be entitled to the competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience, along with these other benefits:
