Project Accountant - 12 month FTC

My client is a leading private healthcare provider based in Central London. They have a required for a qualified and experienced Project Accountant to join there busy finance team

This role provides the opportunity to step into a collaborative Finance Team and involves producing, value-add financial information and supporting the management accounting team within the finance function

Duties and areas of responsibilities.

Joint Venture Accounting: Responsible for the accounting of sub accounts, including production of Statutory accounts, forecasts, inter-company accounting transactions. With prior experience in accounting for inter-company transactions. Ensuring that the accounts produced are in time

Advisory Role: Providing financial guidance and support to project teams to help them make informed decisions and achieve project objectives.

Audit support: To support the Finance manager in areas of Audit including production of Statutory Accounts. Working with the finance manager to create a new Stat model.

Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis to assess project profitability, return on investment, and cost efficiency. They provide insights to project managers and stakeholders to support decision-making.

Month-end Close: Support the Finance Manager with the month end pack and tasks as required.

Financial Reporting: Generating financial reports related to project performance, including profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets. These reports provide insights into the financial health of the project and help stakeholders make informed decisions.

Ad Hoc Projects: Participating in special projects or initiatives as assigned by management, which may involve process improvement initiatives, or other ad hoc tasks.

Compliance and Regulation: Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards in all financial activities. Providing technical accounting support to the team where required.
