Programme Manager
PROGRAMME MANAGER | PERMANENT | £97,500 | LONDON
This exciting programme manager role is an ideal opportunity for an experience datacentre migration Programme Manager to join the team on a permanent basis to work on a multitude of projects from short assignments to large long-term assignments within programmes and portfolios.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a billable utilisation of 75% minimum
- Agreeing the scope of the programme during start-up and capturing changes and seeking approval (if different to the original scope of work) throughout the project lifecycle.
- The overall programme/project delivery, including cost accountability
- Managing project delivery, usually by managing Project managers, to the agreed time, quality and cost parameters for the project within a PRINCE2 (or customer defined) framework.
- Shaping and running a programme / project in commercial terms to achieve the best outcome
- Ensuring all agreed milestone dates are accurately maintained and reflected in the appropriate management tools.
- Management of a Portfolio of CAPS programmes & projects, being either a Customer centric portfolio or the company Service Portfolio. This includes all CAPS management aspects from resourcing, commercials and delivery on behalf of the Project Services Director.
Experience:
- Extensive datacentre migration experience.
- Extensive Programme Management experience.
- Financial service experience.
- Customer senior level facing ability / Gravitas
- Strong commercial awareness
- Knowledge and practical application of Project management methodologies and tools
- Previous experience in large corporate environments, ideally financial services or telecommunications.
- Ability to communicate with Project Boards, CXOs and Senior Business Managers.
