Are you a Production Supervisor with a background in food manufacturing, looking to take proactive ownership of production in a highly progressive business who are looking for their missing puzzle piece?

On offer is the opportunity to join an independent company with nearly 50 years' experience within arguably the tastiest treat of all, pies! They are passionate about providing their famously perfect products, whilst keeping the feel good factor of their working environment for their employees.

You will be playing one of the most essential roles within the business as a hands on production manager, having a direct and positive impact upon the production numbers and quality. You will be overseeing the daily operations in the production bakery, whilst managing the small team and ensuring the orders are ready for their weekly deliveries of pies, pork pies and sausage rolls!

This role would suit a hands on production supervisor, looking to step into a senior role within a tight knit and very successful business.

The role:

• Production planning, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Work closely with the MD's to advance the Quality, Health & Safety functions
• Ensure standard operating procedures are followed to ensure consistent product quality.
• Ensure health and safety, and hygiene regulations are enforced, maintaining high standards of cleanliness by managing a HACCP system.
• Monday - Friday (6:30am-4pm)

The person:

• Production Supervisor or similar experience
• Background in Food Manufacturing
