Job Title: Production Planner
Location: Yate
Salary: £35-40K
Job Type: Permanent, full time

My client is looking to recruit a Production Planner for their manufacturing business based in Yate. The client is a specialist manufacturer and is looking to recruit his position to strengthen the Supply Chain team within the business. Reporting directly into the Supply Chain Manager, this is a great opportunity for the right individua to join a market leader within their industry, who have a global presence within their industry.

The main focus of the role will be to ensure that production line run on schedule to meet customer demands on a daily basis, alignment of production capacity and preparation of a cots efficient production plan.

My main responsibilities with the role of Production Planner will be:

  • Use ERP generated reports or planned orders to convert to production plan, acknowledging incoming supply of materials, inventory availability, resource constraints, and internal/external customers' needs.
  • Ensuring production orders are kept up to date to provide accurate MRP signals.

Skills/Experience required:

  • Planning in a versatile production/manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with SAP (production planning and inventory control modules)
  • Educated to degree level, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Logistics related fields

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, and in return my client offers a competitive salary and benefits including 25 days holiday, annual bonus.
