The company:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company in between Basildon and Southend who are looking for a Production Planner to join their busy and expanding team.
The company is looking for an experienced production planner with relevant manufacturing experience, to manage production and manufacturing tasks etc.


Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the planning of manufacturing functions including inhouse and outsourcing functions.
  • Ensure and plan all processes in line with timelines.
  • Create weekly and monthly production forecasts based on sales and more.
  • Liaise and work with relevant departments to ensure all areas and teams are ready for production.

This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.


Skills and Experience required:

  • Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience using an in-house system or a well-known SAP system.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to plan your own day and timelines.
