Production Planner

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a Production Planner to work at their facility in Telford.

For the successful Production Planner our client is offering;

• Starting pay rate of £35,000 per annum 
• Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5pm with a 2pm finish on Fridays
• Permanent position
• Life assurance x4 of the basic salary
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
• Annual bonus of 8.33% of basic annual salary

The Role of the Production Planner will include:

• Taking responsibility for Production Planning and ensuring that products are ready on time
• Working closely with the Scheduler 
• Prepare and manage data for Sales / Planning meetings
• SAP key user for planning
• Preparation of monthly figures 
• Communication with multiple stakeholders - Production, Maintenance, Procurement, Supply Chain & Customer Services
• Monthly production planning
• Attending weekly meetings with Customer Services to manage lead time requests
• Daily backlog management

What our client is looking for in a Production Planner:

• Our client is looking for somebody with Production Planning experience from a Manufacturing environment
• Experienced in the use of SAP, MRP / ERP systems
• Possess strong Microsoft Office based skills (Inclusive of Excel)
