Materials Planner / Scheduler
  • Location: High Wycombe
  • Working Hours: 9am-5:30pm (office based)
  • Salary: Approx. £38 - 40K per annum(dependent upon experience)

We are currently seeking an experienced Materials Planner / Scheduler to join our Operations Team. This is a new position that will work alongside our existing staff. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in planning, preferably within a manufacturing environment, and be proficient with MRP systems and Sage 200 or similar software.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team to develop and maintain production schedules.
  • Utilise MRP systems to ensure materials are available for production.
  • Analyse and interpret data from Sage 200 or similar systems to inform planning decisions.
  • Create and maintain detailed spreadsheets using strong Excel knowledge.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation of the production process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a planning role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Good knowledge of MRP systems and proficiency with Sage 200 or similar.
  • Strong Excel / spreadsheet skills.
  • Ideally located within a 30-minute commute to High Wycombe.
  • Relevant educational qualifications will need to be evident in the CV.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of approximately £38-40K, dependent upon experience.
  • 20 days holiday, increasing to 25 days with length of service, plus 6 sick days.

2-Stage Interview Process:
  • 1st round: Face to Face with Supply Manager and MRP Specialist.
  • 2nd round: With Managing Director.
