Production Operative

We are seeking a Production Operative for a market-leading manufacturing business, based in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Operative to learn a new trade, whether you have a background in carpentry, plastics, workshop, case-making, automotive, or any other factory-based role.

Pay Rate:
  • £11.440 p/h

Working Hours:
  • 0630-1530 (Monday to Thursday), 0630-1400 (Friday)

The busy manufacturing site in the Solihull area is currently seeking experienced Manufacturing Operatives/Assemblers to assist in medium-to-large scale wood-based projects, leading to a permanent job. The company are in a strong position to offer permanent contracts, this will be according to the upkeep of good timekeeping and attendance. It is vital that all applicants come from an assembling environment and can take/read basic measurements.

PRODUCTION/ASSEMBLY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. As such Warehouse Operative/Food Process Operator/Food Production Operative applicants need NOT apply.

Key skills for the Production Operative role must include:
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
  • Highly motivated and proactive
  • Flexibility with working hours, in the event of deadlines being pushed forward on orders.
  • Capable of picking up training quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
