We are seeking a skilled, detail- oriented Production Engineer to supporting the RF division. In this role, you will be pivotal in supporting and developing the manufacturing capability. Your expertise will optimise processes, resolve technical issues and ensure products meet industry recognised quality standards. As part of the engineering team, you will collaborate closely with other functional teams in the business. You will have a strong technical background, proven problem-solving capability, and a passion for continuous improvement.
You will have the following experience, qualifications, and competencies;
Essential
- HNC and 3+years’ experience and/or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or similar
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality products
- Methodical and statistical approach to problem solving and data analysis
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines in high-pressure situations
- Computer Literate (Windows / MS Office)
Desired
- Design For: Manufacture (DFM), Assembly (DFA) or Test (DFT)
- Manufacturing and support in a production environment
- Understanding quality and problem-solving techniques: (CI, Lean & Six Sigma methodology, 8D, DMAIC)
- Materials science
- Joining techniques (TIG welding, brazing, induction heating)
- New Product Introduction (NPI)
This is a full time, permanent position paying a competitive salary, and comes with a range of attractive benefits. You will be working Monday to Friday.
