Production Coordinator - Luxury Clothing
Based in Bermondsey moving Hackney Wick to brand new offices later in the year
A superb Luxury award - winning uniform design company is looking to appoint an ambitious experienced Senior Production Coordinator . This is an exciting opportunity for an adaptable, detailed driven individual to join their team.
This is a great role for someone who is interested in luxury goods and who thrives on being in a organised design studio environment . You will be part of a small and growing team.
The role:
- See product through from development handover to production delivery to warehouse.
- Coordinate all aspects of raw materials and raw materials stock for production, including ordering trims.
- Coordinate, create and plan all appointed factory production orders.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers .
- Raise and check purchase orders and invoices.
- Create range plans for all product categories and adjust and modify them when required.
- Work alongside production technicians on any amends to garments.
- Check-in of stock and identify packing list complete.
- React and respond to any problem-solving for production.
- Support the process between Technical, Product Development, merchandising, Production, and logistics
- Supervising Junior Production team and intern, together with the Senior Production Manager.
- Follow up on shipments of cloth/trims and orders to the factory and send garments out to customers.
The ideal candidate:
- Positive attitude
- Detail-oriented Highly organised and Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Keeps calm under pressure
