Product Technologist

A Product Technologist is needed for a Global FMCG company. Must understand a critical path, have experience reading Safety Data Sheets and can read product formulations.

Job Title: Product Technologist

Location: West Yorkshire - Hybrid working 2 days a week on site

Salary: Up to £38,000 Depending on Experience

Term: Permanent role

SRG is working with a Global FMCG company who pride themselves on Customer Service and provide various product services to their clients. The team is quite small so you will get to know everybody, they allow for hybrid working for you to achieve the right work life balance for you - they want their team in onsite at least 2 days a week so they can build relationships within the team for effective communication and seamless team working.

Role/Description:

• Working with various teams across the business and suppliers to ensure Critical Path deadlines are being met at all times
• Logging samples on Critical Path ensuring they meet requirements
• Liaising with suppliers to gather information and updates to ensure Critical Path deadlines are being met
• Reviewing artwork against the product information and provide feedback to customers and suppliers with comments
• Physical review and scanning of packaging against approved artwork and checking for errors
• Keeping records detailed and accurate

Requirements:

• Experience managing or following Critical Paths
• Experience reviewing artwork
• Able to understand formulations
• Experience working in field of Cosmetics, Detergents, Candles, Diffusers or Biocides
