What you will do

As a Product Support Engineer with Italian you will provide high quality, innovative, technical support to our diversified customers and install bases of Security Product’s ACVS (Access Control & Video Solutions) division and support customer logged technical issues through different remote support media (phone/email/chat, etc.). You will provide configuration, commissioning and installation related services inclusive of fault findings, firmware and software upgrades, etc. working together with SI/channel partners and field engineers.

How you will do it

• Providing technical support in Linux and Microsoft operating systems and applications

• Providing support documentation, including procedural documentation

• Installation and configuration of hardware, software and related IT equipment and devices

• Support of Windows server, network and computing infrastructure – housekeeping tasks and daily checks.

• Testing/evaluating new technology and infrastructure

• Ensure ongoing compliance with agreed standard IT solutions and related security practices

• To continue to develop and enhance our support portal and to drive innovation in the team.

What we look for

• Ability to work from the Belfast office two days a week.

• Fluency in English and Italian and good working knowledge of any other European language.

• Excellent problem-solving, organisational and analytical skills.

• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team.

• Awareness of or some workings with Windows XP/7 or Linux.

• Applicants must be familiar with IT, Software Engineering or related degree.

• Candidates must be based in the UK and have work authorisation for UK full time employment.
