We are seeking a highly motivated Product Development Engineer to join our client in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge renewable technology products. Reporting directly to the CTO, this individual will be instrumental in driving product innovation and ensuring the technical excellence.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Research and analyse market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for product innovation.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop products that meet customer needs, technical requirements, and industry standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful development and implementation of products.
  • Manage product development projects, including defining project scope, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Partner with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of products.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of products and systems to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Ensure all products comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in renewable technology and continuously seek opportunities for product improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the design and development of renewable technology.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as software development for renewable technology.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations pertaining to renewable technology.
  • Proven experience with project management and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
