Location: South Downs Centre, Midhurst (blended working)

Salary: £27,980 to £30,220
Hours: 37 hours per week (job share will be considered)
Type of post: Temporary for 12 months

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to help at a particularly busy time for the procurement team. You will be responsible for day-to-day administration of the procurement process for under PCR 2015 threshold procurements, with use of our e-tendering system.

You will have the ability the administer financial procedures and contracts with excellent attention to detail whilst maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.

You will have strong communication skills and experience of dealing with suppliers, service providers and staff in a confident manner. You will need good organisation skills to deal with competing priorities in a diverse workload without close supervision.

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of standard Microsoft applications and demonstrable experience of processing financial transactions such as purchase orders, expenses claims or invoices.
