Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a high volume manufacturing business based in Huddersfield, who are seeking an experienced and forward thinking Process Engineer to join the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about modernising manufacturing processes and increasing volume and efficiency. 

Working as part of a small production team under the leadership of the Operations manager, the Process Engineer will work to continually to improve the manufacturing processes on site, playing a key role in the ongoing development and the quality of product.

As the Process Engineer you will be:

  • Creating & maintaining the technical package (Standard Operating processes) which clearly defines the manufacturing process along with quality inspection criteria.
  • Identify and implement lean manufacturing methods where appropriate.
  • Developing continuous improvement projects which deliver improvements to safety, quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time performance.
  • Technical problem-solving ability to regularly improve manufacturing processes.
  • Managing work using best practice program management techniques.

To be considered for the Process Engineer role you will need:

  • BSc/BEng/HND/HNC in Manufacturing or Production Engineering.
  • Background in Manufacturing or Production Engineering (min 3 years).
  • Practical knowledge and experience of developing SOP’s and quality inspection criteria.
  • Investment / CI project management
