Actio Electronics Recruitment are assisting one of our clients based in Lewes with their search for a Process Engineer to join their successful team.
The Company
Our client are a family owned, global leading manufacturer of electronic products who pride themselves on their high level of quality, reliability and service who have manufacturing sites in Lewes as well as in the US.
The company are looking for a talented Process Engineer to join the business due to sustained success and growth.
Purpose of the Role
In this varied and important position within the engineering team, the successful candidate will ensure the maintenance, service schedules and repairs of production machinery are completed and logged to ensure minimum downtime
Ensure machinery is functioning correctly and service schedules are met
You will create programmes for the production machinery and equipment.
Working with senior management, you will identify new technology and equipment and build a case for how this could improve processes and production.
Advise on process change and facility layouts to improve processes
About You
We are looking for a motivated and flexible Process Engineer with a background in the electronics manufacturing industry.
You will have strong knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and a good understanding of industry machinery and equipment.
Skills needed include:
- Strong organization
- Scheduling and planning
- Strong work ethic
- Written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders across the business and outside
Salary and Benefits
This is a permanent role paying circa £30,000 per annum.
Benefits include company pension, private medical insurance, relevant tools, 23 days standard holiday plus bank holidays plus long service rewards.
