The practice presents an engaging and challenging environment, where the primary role is to understand each client individually, discern their aspirations, and facilitate their journey towards realizing their goals. Additionally, they extend their expertise to advise governments, charities, global brands, and startups of all sizes.

The Department:

  • Within the global practice, the firm cater to a diverse clientele engaged in transactions involving the buying and selling of family homes, city pied-à-terre, country estates, cottages, and international property interests.
  • Their portfolio includes residential developers, individual and commercial investors, and landed estate owners seeking to build up residential real estate portfolios.

The Role:

  • The Private Property team enjoys a strong reputation in both the landed estates and London residential property markets, presenting an excellent opportunity for an Associate to join the dynamic team.
  • With a multidisciplinary team comprising over 20 lawyers from various areas within the firm, they offer comprehensive advice to landowners, whether they hold private rural property, historic estates, or newly acquired farms.
  • The role will involve a diverse caseload covering all aspects of Residential and Landed Estates property work.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for the property market and possess a solid technical understanding of property law.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified to practice in England & Wales 2-5 years of PQE
  • Understanding of land and agricultural estates
  • Experience in transactions involving agricultural, residential, and land development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective team player with enthusiasm and engaging people skills
  • Excellent technical ability, drafting, and research skills
  • Strong IT skills (e.g., Word & Excel)
  • Excellent academic background
