The esteemed national team are seeking an experienced Principal Associate/Legal Director to join their London team, focusing primarily on the firm's non-contentious caseload.

In addition to their expertise in non-contentious insolvency matters, they excel in insolvency litigation, representing insolvency practitioners and creditors in fund recovery endeavors leveraging corporate and insolvency legislation.

More about the Role

  • This role entails advising on all facets of the financial or operational restructuring of corporate entities or groups.
  • You will take the lead on mandates, overseeing the work of junior fee earners and coordinating advice from other departments.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Advising on various aspects of UK corporate insolvency processes
  • Guiding clients on company voluntary arrangements and restructuring plans
  • Navigating transactions arising from insolvency processes, whether acting for sellers or purchasers
  • Offering advice on directors' duties and general trading matters for financially distressed companies
  • Handling international group and cross-border insolvency-related issues.
  • Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate a proactive approach to internal and external marketing efforts and, while not mandatory, evidence the ability to secure referrals from the market.
