Primary Teaching Assistant

  • 1-1 supporting role in KS1
  • Burnley
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am -3.30pm
  • From £83.33 per day depending on experience
  • ASAP Start until July 2024.

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-1 basis with a child in Year 1. This is a full time role Monday to Friday.

The Primary School is 1 form entry school with dedicated staff and supportive SLT.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of success in supporting in Key Stage 1, in particular supporting on a 1-1 basis. with a thorough understanding of the national curriculum. You should be passionate about engaging children and helping them to achieve their full potential and should be committed to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment for all.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Experience of working within KS1 with a proven track record
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
