Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one support for students who require additional help.
  • This role could include supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Help to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is desirable.
  • Experience working with young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children.
