Primary Teacher of Nurture

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher of Nurture to join our team in September 2024. This role is ideal for a KS2 Teacher looking to transition into secondary education, focusing on supporting pupils with reading and writing difficulties. You will be teaching smaller classes with a maximum of 15 pupils, making a significant impact on their educational journey. The ideal candidate will be patient, caring, and understanding, ready to make a substantial difference in our students’ lives.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Teach and support smaller classes of up to 15 pupils who struggle with reading and writing.
  • Develop and implement strategies to assist pupils currently struggling with the curriculum.
  • Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment to help students achieve their potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s supportive ethos.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a focus on KS2.
  • Experience in supporting pupils with literacy challenges.
  • A patient, caring, and understanding approach to teaching and learning.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the school community.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
