Primary Learning Mentor | Redbridge, East London

Remedy Recruitment are thrilled to partner with a fantastic primary school in Redbridge to recruit for a Learning Mentor to support a pupil on a one-to-one basis.

The ideal applicant will have a passion for working with children, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively support children in a classroom setting.

The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm.

Primary Learning Mentor | Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support to pupils, assisting with academic tasks and understanding of subject matter.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs and learning styles of the pupil.
  • Working with teachers to develop and implement personalised learning plans.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

Primary Learning Mentor | Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Remedy Recruitment are proud to be able to support the school with providing appropriate training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children succeed.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs of students.
