Your Role as a Primary Class Teacher:

• Develop and deliver high-quality teaching, ensuring effective use of resources and the highest standards of care, learning, and achievement for all pupils.
• Plan effectively to ensure pupils meet their potential, taking account of the needs of underachieving pupils, very able pupils, and those not yet fluent in English.
• Work collaboratively with the SENCO to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs, preparing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing Individual Educational Plans (IEPs).
• Assess, record, and monitor each pupil's progress in line with the National Framework profile and report to parents.
• Use engaging teaching strategies that keep pupils involved through effective questioning, lively presentation, and good use of resources.
