Powder Coater

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Powder Coater to join an excellent bespoke manufacturer in the Weston area.

With no day ever being the same the Powder Coater role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class manufacturing environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform powder coating processes, including surface preparation, material handling, spraying, and curing, to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Select and mix appropriate powder coatings according to job requirements, ensuring accurate colour matching and consistent results.
• Set up and operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booth systems, and ovens, following safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct quality inspections to identify defects, such as uneven coatings or imperfections, and make necessary adjustments to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the powder coating area, including equipment, tools, and work surfaces.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• 6 months as a powder coater/ finisher in an industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of powder coating processes, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job instructions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Package and Benefits:

• £25,000 - 35,000 DOE
