WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.45pm

Planning and Stock Assistant

Our client is seeking a Planning and Stock Assistant, this is an exciting opportunity for someone that is keen to progress their career within planning.

General duties would include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing support to the planning department by ensuring stock of raw materials.
  • Working with sales forecasts to assist future ordering and help capacity planning.
  • Recording of stock raw materials on various systems.
  • Checking for daily issued regarding print machines.
  • Updating schedules in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assistant planning manager with forecasting spreadsheet
  • Carry out month end stock takes.
  • Complete stock schedules monthly
  • Prepare and post stock journals each month.
  • Checking of all raw material invoices
  • Raising of invoices
  • Assist in annual stock takes at other locations.
  • Providing cover within the department as and when required

Skills and Experience required:

  • Driven and willing to learn.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Excel would be an advantage.
  • The successful candidate must be happy to work in both the office and factory- which will involve manual handling of stock.
  • You must be happy to work in a fast past environment with the emphasis on high customer demands.
