R13 are partnering with a reputable housing business in the recruitment of a Planner to join them on a 3-6 month temporary assignment, starting ASAP. Based in Dereham, you will be working 8.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, and be offered an hourly rate of £16.01. As a member of the planning team, you will schedule repairs and maintenance with engineers, liaise with external subcontractors where needed and provide support to customers.

The day to day

  • Liaising with customers to schedule repairs/maintenance jobs.
  • Contacting subcontractors for work that cannot be completed in-house.
  • Utilising the system and planner dashboard with widgets to manage outstanding jobs and identify potential rebooking needs.
  • Handling incoming calls from customers, updating them on more complex repairs and handling any complaints.
  • Handling written work, phone calls, and perform clerical/administrative tasks associated with supporting the planning team.

You will have/be

  • Previous experience in a planning and logistics position.
  • Significant customer service experience with strong telephone manner.
  • IT proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Package, including Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Good problem solving skills.
