Pharmacist

Evolve is working with a brand-new client - a dynamic independent pharmacy group in Hertfordshire.

Our client is on the lookout for a Second Pharmacist to join their well-established team, based at one of their esteemed branches in St Albans (AL6).

As a valued member of the pharmacy team, you're not bound to the dispensary for script checks. Instead, their advanced NHS-accredited Pharmacy PMR system handles this task efficiently, allowing you to focus on more clinically impactful roles and service provision.

Our client is open on experience for this role, but you will be an eager Pharmacist professional who is keen to push patient services! So, whether you’re a newly qualified pharmacist looking for your first post-reg role, or a seasoned Pharmacist seeking a new challenge, this could be the role for you!

• IP Qualification: There is the opportunity to utilise your IP qualification in offering private services to the public. If you’re not yet IP qualified, our client will support you to complete this after 1 years’ service.
• Competitive Salary & Package: For your hard work and dedication, you will receive an hourly rate of circa £26 per hour DOE and a great bonus scheme based on services provided.
• Substantial Volume: With an energetic workload, as the pharmacy dispenses roughly 18,000 items per month, your workday guarantees stimulation and engagement.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist

• Reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
• Compounding customised medications when needed.
• Assisting patients with medication management and adherence.
• Dispensing accurate medications when needed and counselling patients on proper usage.
• Monitoring patient health and medication outcomes.
• Promoting medication safety and preventing errors.
• Providing health promotion services like vaccinations and screenings.
