Personal Injury Claims Handler
Our client who is a Insurance Company is looking for a Personal Injury Motor Claims Handler to join their expanding Motor Claims department in the Surrey office. The purpose of the role is to work within the specialist Commercial Motor Claims team to manage a mixed portfolio of Injury Claims.
Main Duties:
- Handle a caseload of Personal injury claims
- Deal with MOJ Claims as well as those not in the portal
- Proactive management approach to handle claims.
- Maintaining strong diary management.
- Ensuring your portfolio is realistically and accurately reserved in line with best practice
- Deal with claims from inception through to settlement
- Understand when to utilise external suppliers to ensure the best outcome for the business with minimal claims spend.
- Maintain own technical knowledge through training.
Essential Skills Required:
- Previous experience within a similar Motor Claims role
- Good knowledge/ experience within Personal Injury claims
- Ability to handle claims on MOJ
- Confident communicator
Desirable:
- Good organisation skills
- Strong IT skills
- Knowledge of Credit Hire
What you need to know:
- Permanent role
- Based in Surrey
- Salary between £27,000 - £35,000
