Role Highlights:

• Duration:
  3 months (with potential for extension based on project complexity)
• Hours:
  Full-time (39 hours per week)

  Hybrid working (mostly remote, occasional office visits)

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll Process Enhancement:
• Assess and optimise our existing payroll processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reconcile payroll data with finance.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and pension regulations.
• Investigate discrepancies and drive improvements.
• HMRC and NI Expertise:
• Dive into HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) matters, including National Insurance (NI) contributions.
• Handle complex payroll calculations.
• Provide guidance on tax-related queries.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with our talented payroll team.
• Bridge knowledge gaps related to tax and compliance.
• Document processes for future reference.
• System Fixes:
• Identify and address system issues.
• Implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Payroll Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes.
• Confident working with HMRC and NI.
• Pension Legislation:
• Experience with pension-related matters.
• Ability to navigate complex pension regulations.
• Documentation Skills:
• Proficient in documenting processes and procedures.
• Independence and Urgency:
• Self-driven; minimal supervision required.
• Immediate availability preferred.
