Payroll Professional
An excellent job opportunity has arisen at an established accountancy firm in Lincoln for a Payroll Professional. This firm are ideally looking for someone on a part-time basis (between 18 and 30 hours per week). They are flexible on the way the hours are organised across the working week.
Responsibilities:
- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll
- Processing of payroll inputs incl. regular & irregular deductions / payments (to incl. student loans, court orders, sundry bonus payments etc),
- Process starters and leavers
- Production & distribution of P45s
- Calculate data as required – SMP/SSP
- Update, review and process tax codes from HMRC
- Administration of payroll client pension schemes and auto-enrolment procedures
- Accurately track all monthly changes including starters, leavers, amendments, credits on account.
- Process Year End and P60’s
- Answer payroll queries as required
- Call HMRC to investigate client queries
- Assist Payroll manager in identifying, reviewing and improving processes and procedures on a regular basis to ensure these are up to date and relevant.
