About the Role
Reporting to the Reward and Recognition Manager, the Payroll Officer will manage the monthly HR payroll activities ensuring that accurate data is provided to finance and third-party providers. Additional responsibilities include maintaining HR Systems to track changes and supporting the HR generalists in changing Terms and Conditions as necessary. Processing the monthly payroll data for approximately 500 full-time, part-time, and variable employees
- Running all associated payroll reports and checking for anomalies
- Undertaking data uploads, downloads and general pensions related administration for the effective coordination of staff pensions
- Providing administrative support for the department, drafting correspondence including letters, reports, statements, emails and changes to Terms and Conditions of Employment
- Undertaking personnel filing and recording, both electronic and paper including archiving of data
- Answering and resolving payroll enquiries quickly and efficiently
- Ensuring the implementation of policies and procedures
About You
- At least 2 years’ experience in payroll and pensions administration
- Proven background in office administration
- Experience in undertaking confidential work in a sensitive manner
- Previous experience of HR / Payroll systems
- Computer literate, with MS office, database systems including data entry
- Good organisation and time management skills

Required skills
- Experience of undertaking confidential work in a sensitive manner
- Meticulous attention to detail & proficient IT skills
- Natural team player, with a 'can do' attitude
- Experience in a HR environment an advantageous
- Minimum 1 year's payroll processing experience
