Payroll Manager
Role: Payroll Manager
Location: Newport
Salary: £45,000
Responsibilities as Payroll Manager:
- Manage payroll function for group of companies
- Maintain payroll systems and data accuracy
- Process starters and leavers
- Handle weekly payroll, monthly salaries, bonuses, and benefits
- Manage holiday, absence, and sick pay calculations
- Oversee HMRC returns and payroll liabilities
- Administer pension contributions and auto-enrollment
- Participate in payroll system improvement projects
- Respond to employee payroll queries and requests
- Ensure compliance with legislation and reporting requirements
- Produce and maintain up-to-date payroll policies and procedures
Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and legislation
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- CIPP qualification or equivalent
