Payroll Manager - TEMP

Are you an experienced Payroll Manager looking for an exciting opportunity? A client I'm working with is seeking a dynamic immediately available individual to lead their Payroll Team and ensure the smooth delivery of payroll services for around 11,000 employees. As a Payroll Manager, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and compliant payroll processes while enhancing the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Payroll Management:
   • Oversee pre-payroll processing tasks, payroll runs, and post-processing tasks.
   • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant submission and retrieval of files to/from HMRC.
   • Fully balance net payments and perform monthly payroll reconciliation.
     
     
2. Third-Party Payments and Compliance:
   • Process and reconcile various third-party payment reports, including Pensions and Court Orders.
   • Collaborate with the Shared Service Facility (SSF) to request payments where necessary.
   • Authorise and transmit BACS payments within deadlines.
     
     
3. Legislative and Benefit Changes:
   • Lead or contribute to projects impacting payroll delivery (e.g., legislative changes, benefit modifications, system enhancements).
     
     
4. Employee Experience:
   • Prioritise a high level of employee experience throughout payroll processes.
   • Collaborate with the global People Hub Team based in Bangalore.
     
     
5. National Minimum Wage Compliance:
   • Ensure ongoing compliance with National Minimum Wage requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing payroll teams is desirable.
