Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid Working

• Location: East London

• Salary: £30000-£40000 DOE

We are seeking a HR Benefits and Payroll Administrator. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in benefits and payroll administration, keen on ensuring accuracy and compliance in all HR and payroll-related activities. You will be responsible for managing UK and Ireland payroll, ensuring compliance with tax legislation, and supporting global payroll system expansion, benefits creation and implementation and HR administrative support.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Provide HR administrative support to the HR team
  • Create and implement benefits strategies
  • Provide guidance on the payroll system and respond to payroll queries.
  • Generate accurate reports such as P60s, P45s, and P11Ds.
  • Ensure compliance with National Minimum Wage legislation and maintain meticulous records for auditing and legislative purposes.
  • Process court orders and ensure correct deductions are made.
  • Support HR Business Partners and Admin with payment and reporting for holidays, maternity, paternity, and sickness.
  • Administer pension, health, and other benefit contributions, including pension calculations and salary sacrifice arrangements.
  • Manage critical local payroll processes, including tax compliance, payroll returns, and reconciliations.
  • Handle payroll-related vendor management and compliance.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding compensation.
  • Support the implementation of a global payroll system and contribute to global expansion efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a HR team
  • Exposure and knowledge of benefits
  • Experience in Payroll Administration within a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Payroll practices and HMRC legislation.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems (experience with ADP iHCM is desirable).
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Exceptional organisational, time management, and decision-making skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of tax processes and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy with an interest in automation and process improvement.
  • Strong team player with a high level of resourcefulness.
  • Ability to multi-task with a clear sense of priorities and urgency.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
