We are working with a successful and fast-growing Gloucester based business. Our client is looking for two Payroll Assistants join their existing team (one 12-month fixed term contract). These are excellent entry level roles to the world of finance suitable for candidates with high attention to detail and ideally some basic payroll knowledge.

Main duties of the role include:

  • Being the first point of contact for internal payroll questions
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly payroll
  • Inputting and maintaining payroll data on the system
  • Processing employee expenses
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate:
• Some prior experience within payroll
• High attention to detail, organised, with a logical approach
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers
• Sound knowledge of MS Excel
