Payroll Assistant - Temporary Assignment (Up to 6 Months)

Reed Accountancy is partnering with a reputable company located just outside of Aylesford, who are seeking a diligent Payroll Assistant for an ongoing temporary role that could last up to 6 months.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payroll efficiently.
  • Managing administrative tasks for new starters and leavers.
  • Handling statutory payments, including SMP (Statutory Maternity Pay) and SSP (Statutory Sick Pay).
  • Overseeing all payroll deductions with accuracy.
  • Preparing pension information and contributions.

Candidate Profile: 

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in payroll, demonstrating experience in the responsibilities listed above. We are looking for someone who is meticulous, organised, and can manage payroll tasks autonomously. Immediate availability is required for this ongoing contract position and an ability to commit to an office based position.
