Our client is looking for Payroll Administrator to join their HR and Finance Team,

The role is permanent/Part time - 4 days a week to be confirmed 9am - 5pm with some flexibility.

Holiday 26.5 per year including Bank Holidays

Responsibilities and Duties of the Job :

As a Payroll Assistant/Administrator you will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for collating and
submitting the monthly payroll file for processing. You will have full support from the Finance Manager who has
experience running the payroll. You many need to work with other Managers to ensure the accuracy and timeliness
of the information provided.


• Administer and process end-to-end monthly payroll for employees using Moorepay software and
ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
• Calculate and process statutory deductions, including PAYE, National Insurance, and pension
contributions.
• Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring all changes (starters, leavers, changes in employment
status, and changes in role) are updated promptly.
• Manage and reconcile time and attendance records, including holiday allowances, sick leave, and
enhanced holiday pay.
• Navigating both Excel, time & attendance, and payroll software systems.
• Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation, tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and submit statutory reports to relevant authorities including Pension provider and office of
national statistics.
• Process employee benefits, including pension contributions, salary sacrifice schemes, bike to work,
employee loans and other benefits.
• Respond to employee enquiries regarding payroll matters.
• Investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues.
• Provide relevant payroll information for financial reporting purposes.
• Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of payroll
processes.
• Identify and implement continuous process improvements.
• Develop and review processes and controls.
• Managing P11D’s and Annual Returns.
• Processing P60s, P45s, start letters and induction documentation.
• You may be asked to support HR team during staff holidays only when time allows on job training and
the opportunity to further your qualifications

Location: Ferndown

Pay: £19,500.00 - £22,620.00 per annum

Hours 9am - 5pm 4 days per week.
