Payments Manager

Global Accounting Network are partnered with a global payments company who are looking for a payments manager to support the Head of Finance and to manage the day to day of the payments team. This payments manager position will be a 6 month contract and is a great opportunity to expand on exisiting knowledge and skills around payments within an experienced team. This is a very hands on role!

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing team of payments analysts
• Supporting team in a 'hands on' way with day to day tasks
• Review and approve outgoing merchant payments.
• Manage daily cash flow, including FX and forecasts.
• Address merchant payment queries and investigations that have been escalated.
• Analyze processing data and generate reports.
• Process improvements

About you:

• Extensive knowledge, understanding, and experience of payments
• Experience in FS and payment sector
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Management experience
• Proficiency with MS Excel (Highly desirable).
