(You will need to work approx. 27.5hours a week Mon-Friday on site)

My client is looking for a Scheme Manager to support private living residents, the main focus is to maintain the residents independence. You will be supporting with all aspects of housing management, maintenance,  stakeholder management, as well as residential engagement activities and health and safety.

THE ROLE:

  • Plan and support residents meeting and consultation events, ensuring residents are involved in decisions relating to their accommodation and services – communicate residents’ feedback to Housing Manager.
  • Maintain all records in accordance with Data Protection and provide the Housing Manager with regular written reports and data as agreed.
  • Encourage wider community involvement in the scheme, designing activities and encouraging residents to participate.

  • Actively plan and contribute to Committee and Senior Management visits to meet with residents and positively showcase the work of the Scheme.
  • Management of delegated scheme budgets in partnership with the Finance team ensuring compliance to policy and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain the Scheme’s risks on the risk management system and ensuring compliance of regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the management of regular building inspections, identifying elements of maintenance required, report repairs and implement works, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, safety and security.


THE PERSON:

  • Proven experience within a similar role, overseeing residents 
  • Ability management multiple stakeholders and be resilient
  • Demonstrable experience in managing a residential scheme, working with older people and knowledge of related services and benefits.
  • Demonstrable understanding of housing legislation and the regulatory framework within housing.
  • Proven IT and database skills.
  • Financially literate with the ability to prepare reports based on data analysis.
  • Demonstrable experience of dealing with safeguarding issues and concerns.
  • A good understanding of managing professional boundaries
  • Experience of risk management processes and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate with confidence, tact and clarity with a range of individuals
  • A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude, self-motivated with ability to escalate issues when required engaging with the wider team and building a network of support.
  • Excellent admin skills, organised with an ability to prioritise and work to a range of competing deadlines.
