A great opportunity to provide bookkeeping and accounting support to an exceptionally busy HNWI, whose career requires extensive international travel, and her Husband who has various business interests.
This position will be 8 hours per week which can be covered over 1 full day per week or split over two days per week. Preferred days Thursday, Friday or Monday, but must include Friday.
This position is based at home office in Farnham.
Key responsibilities for the Part-Time Bookkeeper include:
- Preparing a list of payments for household and personal expenses monthly for approval and arrange payment with private bankers.
- Maintaining an accurate record of household expenditure
- Preparing simple monthly accounts for a small portfolio of businesses using Excel and Xero.
- Preparing VAT returns
- Preparing basic expenditure reports for house hold projects and arrange supplier payments
- Running payroll for 2 people on Brightpay/Xero
Skills & Experience required for the Part-Time Bookkeeper
- Strong organisational skills and sound accounting skills
- Xero experience
- Payroll experience desirable
- Proven experience of working with the utmost integrity and confidentiality
- Driving licence and own transport (due to location)
- Previous experience of working for a private household or HNWI advantageous but not essential.

- Candidates can be qualified by experience or have AAT level qualifications.
