Our client is one of the biggest financial Planning firms in the U.K. and is looking for a Level 4 Diploma Qualified Paraplanner with 4 years of experience.
The Role
You will be working closely with the Financial Planners and the Client Support Teams to deliver an excellent client experience throughout the advice and review proposition.
Duties:
- Joining the Financial Planner in client meetings, preparing meeting notes, and conducting research required to deliver advice and reviews to clients.
- Proactively work with the Paraplanning Manager and team colleagues to ensure best practice ideas are shared amongst the team.
- Manage own work, set and meet realistic expectations given to advisers and managers.
- Actively contribute to the success of the team through the adoption and promotion of new practices, positive outlook, and teamwork.
- Proactively and continually expand one’s knowledge by investigating new developments in the tax, legal, and planning world.
Qualifications
- CII Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent (Essential)
Knowledge & Experience
- 4 years of paraplanning experience
- High level of technical knowledge of the UK tax regime including CGT and IHT.
- High level of technical knowledge about all types of pension arrangements.
- High level of technical knowledge about all aspects of estate planning.
