Reed Financial Services are representing a award-winning Chartered Financial Planners and Discretionary Fund Managers based

in Exeter who as a vacancy for a Paraplanner/Technical Assistant to join their growing and successful independent business.

My client are happy to consider either a newly qualified or experienced Paraplanner. Whats key for my client is the right fit to the business and team where the successful candidate will work alongside two qualified paraplanners. Their is definate scope to develop  and my client encourage ongoing and further qualifications (i.e. Chartered Status).

1) Junior Paraplanner - The responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

• Support the technical/paraplanning, investment and client service administration team.

• Writing Annual Review reports for clients in accordance with the firm’s FCA compliance regime.

• Communication with clients by telephone, letter, email and face-to-face.

• Provide a point of contact for clients and providers as appropriate.

• Organise and co-ordinate workload to ensure timely completion of work and deadlines are met.

• Ensure the office CRM system (Intelligent Office) is kept compliant and up to date.

• Create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication and client satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications 

• Hold as a minimum the CII RO1 qualification or equivalent.

• Minimum of 3 years independent financial adviser experience.

2) Paraplanner - The responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

• Support the technical and client services teams.

• Help organise and co-ordinate technical and client services team’s workload to ensure timely completion of work and deadlines are met.

• Writing reports and technical analysis for clients in accordance with the firm’s FCA compliance regime.

• Keep up to date with financial products and legislation and meet the FCA regulatory aspects of the role.

• Communication with clients by telephone, letter, email and face-to-face.

• Ensure the office CRM system (Intelligent Office) is kept compliant and up to date.

• Create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication and client satisfaction.

• Keep directors updated on operational issues.

Skills and Qualifications 

• Hold as a minimum the Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent (RO1-RO6).

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
