Our client is currently seeking a full-time Paralegal to join their busy Corporate Commercial team based at their Northampton office. As a Corporate Commercial Paralegal, you will be supporting the department’s solicitors on a wide range of corporate transactions including Acquisitions, Disposals, Management Buy Outs/Buy Ins and Corporate Restructures.

Responsibilities:

  • Incorporating companies.
  • Co-ordinating and managing electronic data rooms, including organising redacting and uploading documents and liaising with clients/third parties in respect of the same.
  • Assisting with file management.
  • Drafting and approving corporate ancillary documents, such as Board Minutes and Shareholder Resolutions. • Preparing documents for completion.
  • Attending disclosure and completion meetings.
  • Assisting the team with post completion matters, including preparing Completion Binders, writing post completion letters to clients/third parties and attending to Companies House filings.

Experience:

  • You will already have a law degree and may in due course be looking for a Training Contract (SQE or LPC) or CILEX route.
  • Legal: 1 year (preferred)
  • Excellent IT, verbal and written communication skills, together with excellent interpersonal and client care skills,
  • The ability to work effectively in a friendly and supportive team.
