Paralegal Assistant-Financial Services Background-FTC

We have an urgent requirement, for a Paralegal Assistant to join our client’s team on a Fixed Term Contract. You will have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience and have come from a banking/financial background and have experience of working in a complex shareholder set-up with diversified business departments and be able to demonstrate success in building excellent rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.

Main duties will include:

  • Strong experience with administrative tasks that underpin the Legal Departments proficiency.
  • Process documents for signature using digital signing software applications. · Manage the administration of legal contract process from end-to-end.
  • Experience with Docusign and other signing platforms.
  • Assist with fund structuring, launches and closings.
  • Compiling board slides for the Legal team and working with the Assistant Corporate Secretary to the extent required. ·
  • Supporting all areas of the business with legal queries. ·
  • Uploading and tracking legal documents using legal technology. ·
  • Legal billing/invoicing and budget tracking.
  • Legal research and keeping on top of relevant available resources.
  • Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and strong proof-reading skills are essential for the role
  • Depending on experiences, template drafting (checklists, NDAs, disclaimers, basic contracts).
  • Strong computer skills and experience in using MS Office tools (Sharepoint, Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook) are essential.
  • Have the enthusiasm to develop professional working relationships throughout the business.
